Just outside Barking town centre in Gascoigne estate from Friday to Sunday you will find Mamboz BBQ trailer serving traditional Tanzanian street food such as Urojo mix, Chicken or beef Mishkaki, BBQ Seabass, Mandazi, Chicken Sekela, Nyama ya choma, Chapati, Kachori just to mention a few. You can also find Mamboz BBQ in Barking market on Tuesdays. Mamboz BBQ is one of the few places where you can find traditional and great tasting East African food cooked by Tanzanian chefs. Not only do they serve great food, but this is also a great meeting place for Swahili speakers. you will smell the wonderful aromas of BBQ food billowing from its chimney well before you arrive. further up the road if you fancy a drink, there is the Barking Dog Wetherspoons pub. All in All, this small adventure was a wonderful experience, and I will certainly be returning for more of the mouth-watering tasty food at Mamboz BBQ.
