Shopping at Woolworths in South Africa

Hi travellers,
This video is filmed inside a Woolworths store in Johannesburg as we shop for road trip and Kruger trip snacks and food. Woolworths can be a little bit more expensive and does not carry some items, but it does carry specialty items not found in other stores in SA.

I like the Woolworths bakery and produce section. The confectionary aisle leaves a large space for improvement.

Be sure to bring your Woolworths card and try to only shop for what will fit in a basket as you can see there are no conveyer belts and the checkout staff do not scan quickly. Also sometimes you are expected to bag your own groceries.

It can be nice to add some delicious items, like the cheese and different style rusks to your trolley for a trip away as we did.
